The “reality TV” tactic for writing addictive emails

Regardless of what you think about reality TV shows like Big Brother, The Real Housewives, Survivor, etc … you’ve got to admit they get viewership and they make money.

According to my good ol’ pal, Mr Google, the “Real Housewives” franchise has attracted over 1.6 billion viewers worldwide and has generated over $4 billion in revenue.

That is a lot of zeros, my friend.

And that would for sure look good on any business owner’s account.

But why do I tell you all these?

It is because there is a “force of nature” … an instinct … present in every human being that makes us attracted to Reality TV type content.

It is just something we humans love, enjoy watching and find very addictive.

Seems like an exaggeration?

Look at the viewership of the “Real Housewives” – 1.6 billion!

The population of the world is about 8 billion. That is approximately 20% of the world population that the “Real Housewives” garnered in viewership.

If that doesn’t tell you something about our human nature, I don’t know what will.

Anyhoo, this human “force of nature” is something any business owner can also tap into to generate viewership and sales in their emails also.
