How Trump can help you make more sales

If you’ve ever worried that your emails are not interesting enough … maybe you suffer from the infamous “graymail” … or maybe you think your writing is just plain terrible …

Then you can use the “Trump tip” to help you.

Here’s what I mean:

Almost every time Trump is mentioned in the media, he is almost always “fighting”.

Whether with another candidate, another country or a group of people — it is always a conflict.

And it gets him more attention than he probably needs.

And like the saying goes: “All attention is good attention”.

But what does this have to do with you?

Well, here’s what:

Conflict sells.

Humans love conflict.

We might not like to BE IN conflict … but we love to hear stories about people fighting, arguing or attacking each other. There is something inherently interesting about the tension of opposing sides going against each other.

This is one reason why sports are so interesting (and lucrative). It’s all conflict.

Here’s how you can use it in your marketing:

Simply pick a group of people you disagree with … an ideology you think is harmful … or an accepted practice that makes no sense to you …

Then pick a fight with it.

Simply outline the idea or piece of advice you think is terrible and tear it down … mock it if you will.

Let people know why you think it is bad, what the better alternative is, yada yada yada.

That way you’re creating conflict, being helpful (i.e. preventing your people from taking bad advice) and also making sales at the same time.

If your marketing sucks, it’s probably because you’re not using enough conflict.
