How to shortcut your success in business and life.

One of my goals recently has been to grow my own list.

And for good reason – I am pretty darn good at writing emails, but it is sort of a shame only a small number of people get to read these emails.

And with email, size actually matters ** coughs **

It takes the same effort to write an email that goes out to 50,000 prospects as it does to write one that goes out to 1,000 prospects, but the results are astronomically different.

So, of course, I am trying to grow my list, and recently, I have been testing out Facebook Ads.

While I have prior experience with Facebook Ads, it is not my bread and butter. I haven’t run an ad in years, so of course I am a little out of touch. However, before running my ad, I did what every smart person does:

I leveraged the experience of others.

I researched several businesses to see what I could learn from their Facebook ads strategy.

And no, this is not swiping or “funnel hacking” as many marketing bros like to preach. I didn’t blindly copy an existing ad and swap out the product name. I also didn’t lazily ask hey-hai to spit out an ad.

Instead, I studied the strategy, the format, and creatives of ads that are currently working.

And I am gradually implementing those lessons in my own ads.

Here’s why I tell you this:

With anything business (and life), you have 2 choices – to learn, make mistakes and improve on your own … or to leverage the experience of others.

Making your own mistakes is a given. You will definitely fuck up, from time to time. But leveraging the experience of others makes your journey a lot faster, and I love speed.

Speaking of speed, Email FastTrack! is literally a shortcut for anyone looking to get better at email marketing.

Not only does it contain 22 “email types” derived from emails that have generated several thousands of dollars in sales for myself and my clients …, but it also contains 22 templates/swipes that you can copy for your own business whenever you are too busy, too lazy, or just out of ideas.

Currently, you can pre-order it for $97, after which it launches fully at $220.

That’s the good news.

The bad news?

The bad side of running 2 businesses that are in the “zero to one” stage (like I am doing), is that you have split focus. Tbh, it’s not very wise and I won’t advise you to do it. It’s better to concentrate all your atten
