How to increase membership retention with email.

Subscription (whether a membership, mastermind, newsletter, SAAS, etc) is a beautiful business.

While I don’t actively have one now, I will most likely launch one before the end of the year and I truly believe every business owner needs one.

Why?

Because nothing is better for your prospects and your business than a subscription offer. It gives your business a consistent revenue stream and gives your prospects a consistent knowledge stream.

It is the perfect business model.

However, there is one big problem:

Churn.

Churn is the Kryptonite of the subscription business and everybody is constantly trying to keep churn as low as possible (i.e. keep retention as high as possible).

Different problems can contribute to churn, from a “lead quality” problem, to an offer problem, etc.

However if you have a marketing problem, here is an easy way to increase your subscription retention using email marketing:

Simply create an “End of the month” email campaign that sells the next month’s membership content.

This campaign can go out to both subscribers and non-subscribers, however you need to actually “sell” the new content you’ll be teaching the next month, so that current subscribers are incentivized to continue their subscription. Your campaign needs to make them see how much they will learn (or gain) by continuing their subscription, without outrightly saying “don’t cancel your subscription”.

But how do you actually write this campaign?

That’s where Email FastTrack! comes in.

It is a collection of 22 “email types” that have helped generate several thousands of dollars in sales for myself and my clients. And you can pick any of them to include in any email campaign you are running (whether a new offer launch, Black Friday Discount or a membership campaign).

If you’d love to try the “End of the month” email campaign I mentioned, I recommend experimenting with Email #19, Email #12, Email #8, Email #17 and Email #2 … from Email FastTrack!

If you’re interested, then you can pre-order Email FastTrack! now and get it for $97 instead of $220 when it fully launches.

But you have to be fast as the pre-order discount ends on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 by 11:59 pm EST.
