IKON Media is a marketing agency dedicated to helping founders grow their businesses through effective email marketing campaigns and high-impact websites/funnels.Â
We’re launching How To Win At Business, a YouTube show that explores the strategies behind iconic brands and entrepreneurs, delivering actionable lessons for aspiring business owners. Our mission is to uncover the clues to business success and share them through compelling videos.
With a small team of 3 (and plans to stay under 10), we foster a creative, fast-paced environment where everyone is an active contributor. Our culture encourages growth, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and skills with every project.
Key Responsibilities
As the YouTube Show Producer and Co-Host, you’ll play a central role in bringing How To Win At Business to life, working directly with the founder. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth research on business topics, brands, and entrepreneurs to inform video content.
- Writing clear, engaging scripts that make complex business strategies accessible and compelling.
- Co-hosting the show alongside the founder, bringing energy and personality to the screen (on-camera experience is a plus, but a great personality is what matters most).
- Collaborating closely with the video editor and animator to ensure videos align with the script’s vision.
- Applying storytelling and audience engagement techniques to captivate viewers.
- Monitoring YouTube analytics to gauge audience response and refine content strategies.
You’ll report directly to the founder and have significant influence over the show’s creative direction.
Required Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in business and marketing. You should have:
- Prior-experience in video production whether for a YouTube channel, a documentary or a film.
- A deep passion for business and marketing, with a genuine interest in exploring business strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of business history, gained through regular research, reading biographies, or similar activities.
- Proven writing experience (any form of writing is acceptable, not limited to scripts).
- Strong research skills and the ability to focus on detailed, in-depth investigations for video content.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following skills are a plus:
- Familiarity with video editing or animation.
- Comfort appearing on camera (not required, but a vibrant personality is welcome).
