As a man thinketh in his heart, so he isn’t

If you’re a christian, you have probably heard of the passage:

“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”.

While that phrase is true based on the context it was being used in …

When it comes to business, what you think in your heart is not all that important.

Here is what I mean:

It doesn’t matter if you believe that your product is the best in the market … or if you believe your price is fair … or that you are an expert in your industry …

What matters is if your prospects believe it.

You can be selling the best product known to man, with the best technology ever invented, but if nobody believes you, you aren’t going to make as much sales.

And this problem is getting worse by the day – with the rise of skammers and spammy online marketers, everyone is suspicious.

Belief is everything when it comes to making sales online

Which begs the question …

How do you influence what your prospects “think” about your business?

How do you make them believe?

Well, there are the common things like using testimonials, proof, certificates, etc.

The problem with those?

Those things can be faked – fake screenshots, scripted testimonials, fake certificates, etc.

However there is a way to make prospects believe you that cannot be faked or copied – and is far more persuasive than screenshots/testimonials.

In fact, this technique was used by some of the biggest TV commercials in the past that sold you on a product you didn’t even know existed 5 minutes ago.

It has also been used by some of the biggest sales trainers over the years and more recently some youtubers who have transitioned from purely creating videos to also owning their own products.

Admittedly, many of these youtubers don’t really think about this technique and kind of apply it on accident (from what I have noticed at least), but if you are conscious about it, you can pretty much eliminate skepticism from your prospects.

What technique am I talking about?

Enter my book: “Client Surge”.

It is 100% free and it shows you how to make people believe you even if you don’t have the certificates, testimonials and/or credentials of the big names in your industry.

This works especially well if you are using email to sell, but even if you use social media (or any other medium), it can be adapted to fit the platform.
