4 ways to fail at email marketing in 2024

If you’re a health and wellness business owner looking for some quick, effective and bullet-proof ways to fail at email marketing …

Then look no further!

Because I am about to share my favourite ways to mess up your email marketing.

Ready?

Let’s gooo…

1. Send emails once a week or once a month:

Why send emails frequently, when you can simply send them once a month, so that your subscribers would have forgotten you before the next month?

Sounds like a great plan to me.

2. Give value, never sell:

I personally love this one because it makes my subscribers think I run a charity and it trains them to never buy anything from me.

For real, who needs sales when you can get “great value!!!” responses?

3. Send dry, boring emails:

One of the best-kept secrets in the marketing world is being boring.

You might not know, but people love to be bored.

They love dry, formal and corporate content.

No need to tell stories, have a personality or be interesting.

Simply bore them into buying.

4. Constantly pound your chest about how great you are:

We all love people who constantly yap about their achievements right?

It works even better with email marketing.

Simply talk about all you’ve achieved and never talk about what your audience is going through and how to help them.

You’re the one that matters after all.

Right?

Okay, I don’t know if my “humour” went over anybody’s head.
